<p>Cal Poly more prestigious than UCD? Ummm, no, unless you are talking about school of architecture or something. Davis has a stellar reputation for smart students, and businesses love hiring them. Not that Poly does not, by the way. That is an excellent choice also. I think the better question to answer is something like this…</p>

Do you plan to go to grad school for business after undergrad? if so, an undergrad business degree is not so important, and you’d probably be better off with ag econ at Davis</p>
<p>They are both great schools.</p>
<p>I know lot about Davis because my dad went there and is a big active alum, especially in the Nor Cal business community that hires a lot of UCD grads. I did not apply there because too close to home for me, but I did apply to SLO and like it a lot.</p>
<p>Best of luck, truth is you can’t make a bad choice here, both are great, they are just a little different in size and feel, both have nice college towns too.</p>
