Business Week Online Rankings

Richmond is actually a very, very good school. It doesn’t produce finance people like NYU does, but these rankings look at more than just one variable. Wharton is obviously the best finance UG school, but if you start looking at student experiences and other metrics, you can make a case for Wharton not being #1. If you want to be a big 4 accountant, there is no reason you would want to subject yourself to the pressures of Wharton. Looked at as a whole, many UG students probably feel pressured or dislike the ultra competitive campus environment.

BW is not the end all, be all, but it is a starting point.

MSFHQsite, you make a valid point, but you are referring to fit, not quality. Wharton is clearly the best undergraduate business program. Where you are correct is that Wharton is not necessarily the best place for everybody. In fact, I would go as far as saying that no program is suited for more than a fraction of the student population. But a ranking should not take fit into account. A ranking should simply list programs in order of excellence. There is no better program than Wharton. It is up to the student to figure out where they fit best.

does miami u in florida not have a good business school? they aren’t even ranked.
