IMO, the rooms ARE better at EW, but by just a little. i stayed in a common room/bathroom/two single-rooms type, and i think that’s the typical (perhaps only) set up at EW. also, the buildings themselves are really nice, but i also went to see river, choates, and fayerweather and thought that they weren’t that bad at all. i thought the only real difference in the rooms was purely aesthetics (EW rooms might be a bit bigger, but not by much IMO). i was a bit disturbed by the three-bed rooms (saw them at fayerweather), tho, 'coz i can’t imagine rooming with two other girls and not ever fighting (actually, that happened for six weeks this summer, but it was b/c we chose to room together b/c we already knew each other’s personalities very well, and got along great).

the huge difference btwn EW and other dorms to me was EW was very quiet. that could be a good thing even for partiers if they also like to be in control of when they can have quiet times for themselves. a downside for partiers is EW is pretty far from the frat row (actually, it’s an okay walk, and good for those calf muscles, heh). oh yeah, i also thought the better-looking guys didn’t live in EW, but i think you’re a guy so you prolly don’t care.
