Seeing as the federal estate tax exemption is up to $13.61 million, not being limited by that isn’t much of an advantage for most people.

True, except that the exemption is scheduled to be reduced 12/31/2025.

Yeah.
The Washington state estate tax is why I’m strongly considering passing on much of what we have to the kids before we pass away. That is, after all debt is paid off. Anyone want to buy a boat?
