<p>I did Pistol Detail my 2/C Summer, and almost had my belly evacuated by one young Pleber who lost his situational awareness after a hangfire. He turned, absentmindedly pointing the weapon at my stomach and said, “Sir, my gun won’t work.”</p>

<p>Only 16 on the team, eh? Bummer. It always seems the best clubs are always underfunded. When I was there it was the Flying Club (I wish I could remember the squadron letters) and the SCUBA Club. You would think that at the United States NAVAL Academy, not only would the SCUBA Club be funded, but that SCUBA certification would be mandatory! </p>
