Regarding ACT/MCAT correlation, statistically it is estimated that the old Mcat is about 1 point below your ACT, that is if you fall into the statistics. If you had a 27 in ACT and if you do not work hard in UG you will get a 26 in old Mcat that is below 500 in new Mcat and it is not competitive in ANY medical school, DO included.
Your goal is to reverse the stats and pull your new MCAT over 525 that is a long way from below 500. In old Mact, you need approximately 34 to be “in the ball park” for ANY MD school and 32 for DO school, it is an high order from 26.
