<p>Cable TV is very cheap at uChicago. Comcast offers deals for students, as long as you sign up before 1 October. They change every year. Last year, basic cable (broadcast channels, TNT, Nickelodeon, MTV, ESPN, etc.) was $14.99 a month and premium digital cable with HBO and Starz! was $24.99 a month. The amount of kids who gets cable isn’t large, probably about 10-15%. Most dorms are not cable ready. AFAIK, only Max and Shoreland offer cable in the dorms.</p>
