Cal Poly Pomona Transfers

@darkdubzs- It’s always better to have at least a 3.0 when transferring out of cc. Sometimes things and the era change. Sometimes your motive changes as well. While you are in cc for those 2 years, cal poly pomona may raise their standards for community college transfers. Business Admin is not impacted now, but that may change within 2 years. Once the Business department gets strong enough, there’s no way a 2.0 will cut it. Try your best at your cc, don’t restrict yourself from just getting a certain gpa and try to pass your classes. And you are NEVER GUARANTEED admission ever. period. There is no “guaranteed admission”. You are guaranteed admission for community college. They accept most students who apply, but there are certain circumstances that even people who apply for a cc do get rejected. Please start to think realistically.
You better do your research as well. Some schools have a required gpa for transfers.
