S24 admitted civil engineering
CSU capped weighted 4.36
So cal local IE

Admitted yesterday and today the portal is showing a to do of an official transcript for 1st semester grades due 2/15. The school has repeatedly told the kids not to submit transcripts to the Cal States or UCs. Very confused. Does anyone know if we need to send one? It does take a few days to process one and the due date is so soon.

Several CSU’s will ask admitted students to send transcripts. It is a Common practice for CSUF. If you are interested in attending, then submit them.

After a provisional acceptance, some CSU’s will ask for Mid year reports especially to make sure you are on track to complete all required a-g courses by end of Senior year

Thanks for the instruction here. The student portal was so confusing. There was no email either. Son was accepted. So far he got admitted at Cal Poly Pomona, Cal State LA and CSUF.

We clicked the link oh how to submit the transcript by 2/15 and received an error 404 page

My kid sent theirs in using Parchment. It is an online service a lot of schools use to send official transcripts.

Daughter admitted for Art. 4.13 CSU gpa. 3 AP classes, 6 dual enrolled JC classes. A few clubs, minimal leadership. Northern CA. Also accepted to SSU, Sac State & SDSU. Waitlisted at CSULB. Waiting on UCSC & UCD. Congrats to those admitted!

Thanks, I’m encourging her to enroll as it is an excellent program. My son is in final year CE at UIUC. The coursework at CSUF is similar to that of UIUC. You are really getting quality graduate level education at a fraction of the cost in four years. Normally it would take at least 6 years to get a graduate degree in CE or EE. You also do not have the additional hassle of writing GRE, AGRE and going through the admissions process for a graduate program.

Thanks for your detailed reply. I also believe it is a very good program, especially for us living in Orange County. However, my son is not very interested. I think because of peer pressure, he likes certain schools.

Seems like most of my daughters friends have heard back from CSUF but she has not. Anyone else still waiting?

Decision: Rejected for Nursing (Still being evaluated for Biological Science)

Assuming Fullerton does as it has in past years, acceptances are still coming out and will through most of March. My kid has their acceptance. Their friends don’t discuss admissions decisions much - it is a social no-no - so I don’t know how many of their friends are still waiting.

I agree with @Cjgv that Fullerton does rolling admissions and applicants were admitted in late March last year.
