<p>Lemaitre1: I’ve been researching the CSU’s for my D and spending alot of time on CSU Mentor site, plus visiting a few campuses. Your son is in the Sac service area so Sac State would be more lenient on the GPA- and his SATs are above their norm, so my guess is he’s good to go. Some campuses have become harder to get into, but that is mostly for the out-of-service-area kids, and also elevated more if they want entre to the impacted programs. Your kid sounds smart enough (SAT’s), and I bet with the ability to take classes of his choosing he’ll enjoy the college experience. I used to bug my son about H.S. grades, but told him once he went to college I was done nagging- at that point he’s building his own life. (OK, I still bug him a little bit
