<p>Yes, it is heart wrenching to deport people. It is very difficult to enforce the laws we have right now on immigration. If you have laws on the books, you have to enforce them or you cannot expect people to obey them. That we tantalize and tempt those who come and stay in this country illegally is not right. If you are not here legally, you do not get the privileges of those who are here legally. How else can you expect people to take the legal route?</p>
<p>There are many people in California and other states who have done things by the law book and are needy. Relief for them should come first. I haven’t been hearing a thing about extra money lying around that can be distributed. If anything, the funds going towards this subsidizing illegal immigrants’ benefits should be going towards a fund to get them legalized so that they can LEGALLY get these benefits. We are cutting our own selves doing this.</p>
