<p>In the write-up, they use the word may in some instances. The other thing is that for the benefits, you have to have an income below the poverty level, which is pretty low( I do not know that income level).</p>
<p>Having said that, there are scholarships available for children of disabled veterans. Do a Google search. Those scholarships can be used anywhere. </p>

Also, I know that some of my community college students have been able to tap into their parents’ veteran’s benefits if their parents served since September of 2001 (so my kids are not eligible because my hubby retired in October of 2001, which was not enough service time after).</p>
