<p>California seems to be on a bit of an upward trend as of late, but the national curve for the 2011 test was more difficult than in prior years, which is good for you. In terms of national percentile ranking, a 221 this year is equivalent to having scored a 223 last year. So California would have to have a significant jump in performance relative to the nation for its cutoff to rise above 221 this year. It’s possible, but not likely in my estimation. </p>
