I believe all clad does. I wish I could justify buying it. I don’t need new cookware.

Scanpan. It’s great. Stuff browns and still doesn’t stick.

I use nonstick frying pans or griddles for omelets, eggs and pancakes, but much prefer Dutch ovens, either cast iron Le Creuset or All Clad for soups, stews, chili, pot roast. They are ideal for browning, holding in the heat for slow cooking, evenness of cooking and for when you want a fond. Easy to clean and unlike nonstick, will last forever.

I only use nonstick for omelets and pancakes and get rid of them as soon as they show signs of wear. Even my high end All Clad nonstick doesn’t last more than a few years. At least they replace, no questions asked. Scanpan is a very good product, but I understand they are not great about honoring their warranty.

Even calphalon now works on induction burners; they added steel so the bottoms aren’t all anodized aluminum. That may be the unison line or both; I don’t remember.

My little experience with induction is that any pan with a disc-like bottom works fine. That excludes only those old Revereware-like pots that are just metal because those tend to warp and rock.

Scanpan sounds wonderful. I want some!

All Clad stainless works on induction cooktops, and so does cast iron. It’s easy to find out whether any pans you are considering will work, if they do, it will be stated.

Looks like this article has been recently updated. It’s a good summary of various review sources:

P.S. Sorry for the bad cut and paste editing job on #23!

That article never even mentions Scanpan, so they obviously know nothing! I do agree that a matched set of cookware is useless - better to mix and match the best pieces for particular uses.

Well, you guys prodded me into remembering that my disposable non-stick (a Kitchen Aide combo from TJ MAXX two years ago) was no longer non-stick and needed to be replaced. So off to TJ MAXX where I found a nice Calaphon 12 inch skillet – anodized aluminum exterior, non-stick interior. And, a semi-matching pair of Cuisinart 10 inch and 8 inch non-stick skillets (anodized aluminum exterior, non-stick interior). So I’m back in business.

Unfortunately, they also had something I’ve been hunting for a while now. A deal on 12" and 10: All-Clad tri-ply skillets: stainless exteriors and interiors. I’ve been using some Chinese knockoffs that are OK, but a TJMAXX deal on these was irresistable.

gourmetmom, LOL! They did review Scanpan earlier this year. It used to be featured in their list of alternative non-stick coating - not sure why they omitted this time around. Maybe it’s that warranty issue. However, the critical Amazon reviews do seem a little suspicious - first time reviewers etc.
