<p>My experience has been that your SAT scores carry more weight than your GPA. Students from my daughter’s high school with a 4.0 but SAT scores between 1200 and 1290 did not get accepted to Pitt where other students with a lower GPA but an SAT score over 1300 were accepted.</p>
