GPA out of 100: 98.6 weighted overall, school doesn’t track unweighted, but freshman year I definitely had like a 96 something, with one or two B’s and a C in spanish but all honors classes so they were curved</p>
<p>SAT I’S: V-660 M-680 W-720
ACT: taken twice, 32 then 33 composite, 34 superscore</p>
<p>steady part time job for for two years, about 12 hours a week
ran track and cross country, 12-15 hours per week
various clubs but none held all four years
mandatory school service hours instigated after my freshman year, so 25 per year/75 overall
national honor society
national merit commended student
very involved in art classes - not much outside of school, but I took classes every year at school, got an award soph year, and drew for the newspaper occasionally
5 AP classes/tests, 3 on APUSH and lang and comp, 4’s on bio, lit, and euro</p>
<p>Don’t worry about it too much, NU isn’t that hard to get into compared to some other schools. If you think you’re borderline though, I’d suggest applying to weinberg then transferring to medill.</p>
