<p>Well, my D was deferred. She has an ace up her sleeve though and is using it. She managed 760 in both of her SAT IIs, which had not been part of her original application for reasons beyond her control. Also, the funny thing is that two other great colleges are actually beating down her door to get her to apply (not counting the six or so major ones where she is a shoe-in). She is heading back to Wellesley, though, as her No1 choice. We’ll see, but things are still looking promising. Merry Christmas (or is it Happy Holidays?) everyone.</p>
