<p>This is what happened:</p>

<li><p>You posted that you would attend GT, UGA, or nowhere else. With a 3.1 UWGPA (Tech average accepted 3.92 UW, average applicant 3.67 UW) and an 1810 SAT (Tech average accepted 2077, average applicant 1941), you were not a match for Tech or even UGA and seriously risked not getting into any college. </p></li>
<li><p>I told you that you had no chance at those schools and suggested GSU as an alternative with an option to transfer. You were upset by my comments and challenged me, but I believe that did get you to apply to GSU.</p></li>
<li><p>You applied, then I told you that I thought you had a “reasonable shot” at UGA. I didn’t mean you were a match, just that it wasn’t an impossibility that you might get in. I told you it was a 1 in 3 shot. </p></li>
<li><p>You didn’t get into UGA and panicked. Then I told you that it was a reach all along.</p></li>

<p>Another thing to remember: Tech has multiple offers they can make you. There’s admission to Atlanta, conditional admission to Atlanta, and admission to Armstrong Atlantic State (but not GT). Based on your stats, I really think you’re “waiting” on that last one.</p>
