Rescue from page 2-our grad party went off w/o a hitch; we had 50-60 people show up (it was an open house), so it was a very manageable group at any given time. The rented jukebox was a hit, even the little neighbor kids were jamming! DD didn’t even flinch at the enormous “Congrats” banner DH strung up on the porch (it even had her graduation picture on it). About 15 of DD’s friends stayed to the end and helped us put everything away, then they all went to the diner afterwards (I’m wondering if they even ate anything there??? Where do they put it??) Other than a bee sting (me) there were no mishaps, the weather was beautiful. But now I can breathe! Exactly 2 months from today, she leaves for PSU, I don’t even want to think about that yet.

Enjoy, SpringfieldMom!!! :)

Sounds like it was a great party! It feels like a lifetime ago that DS graduated, although, according to the calendar, it was only a month. It’s kind of funny how different the school calendars are depending on where you live. You guys are still going through the excitement and stress of graduation, while the Texans are almost halfway through summer vacation!
