can i get financial aid in america for undergraduation.

MY best guess/opinion (other posters chime in with your best estimates), for an INTERNATIONAL student from an overrepresented country for four years:*

$175,000+ = Welcome to the University of the USA. If you have an A or B average, decent TOEFL, and can pay full price you will almost certainly find a university that will take you. Note that top schools will cost closer to $300,000 (total/all in costs), but you can get a four year degree for less if you aren’t picky about where you attend. Loans from US Banks or the US Government are not available to you.

$70,000 to $100,000+ = about a 50% chance of studying and completing a degree in the USA for a solid student with high test scores. Although OP’s GPA and test scores will qualify him for a partial scholarship, having this amount in the bank PLUS work-study would help pay for the rest (including costs not covered by scholarship, such as visas/passports, travel, etc.). Any scholarships usually require you to maintain a 3.0 GPA (some find this tough to do when homesick, thousands of miles from home, and in a different climate and culture). You will most likely have to work (within the allowances of your student visa) to supplement your expenses. Loans from US Banks or the US Government are not available to you.

<$15,000 = about a 1% chance of studying in the USA. Full scholarships are extremely rare, and there are thousands of dollars of costs that they won’t cover. Any scholarships will require you to maintain a 3.0 GPA. You definitely will have to work (within the allowances of a student visa) in order to supplement your expenses. Visas may be difficult to get if you can’t prove you have the money to support your studies. Loans from US Banks or the US Government are not available to you.

*Note: This is only a guesstimate - it absolutely does not - and should not - replace a carefully planned budget.
