Getting accepted to Stanford and the Ivies will be difficult. They are reaches for most qualified applicants. Your EC’s and GPA are excellent but your current SAT score is a little low for these schools, with the possible exception being Cornell. I think your chances at Cornell are pretty good. You have a very good shot at Rice. Make sure you do a school visit or college fair in your local region and interview either at the school or with an alum locally. You need to “show them some love” if you want them to show you some back and accept you! Cornell and Rice are on completely different ends of the spectrum. Big school vs. small school. 20K students v 5K students including grads. Rural v more Urban. I’d be interested in seeing what other schools you have on your list besides the HYPS’s and Rice. There are a ton of great Ivy-caliber schools such as Duke and WashU, just to name two of them. Good luck.
