<p>MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMISSION </p>
<p>1) Complete all prerequisite courses (see below) with a letter grade of C- or
higher no more than 5 years before starting the business major. If you repeated
or have taken more than one course to fulfill a prerequisite you must use the
first attempt to satisfy the requirement. If you received a C- or higher for
your first attempt you should not repeat the prerequisite.
2) Complete the foreign language requirement (see below).<br>
3) Complete at least 60 UC-transferable semester units (90 qtr. units). </p>
<p>All of the required courses must be completed by the end of the spring term
prior to starting at the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business.</p>
<p>IGETC does not satisfy these requirements. </p>

<p>Important Information for Current High School Students<br>
If your ultimate goal is to apply to UC Berkeley for freshman admission and then
apply to the business major, it’s important that you be aware of the following:
The Haas Admission Committee recommends that you take the majority of your Haas
prerequisites at UC Berkeley and not at the community college. If admitted to
UC Berkeley you will be applying to Haas as a Berkeley student and not a
transfer student. The Admission Committee needs to evaluate how you perform in
Berkeley prerequisites while engaged in Berkeley’s vibrant, diverse campus
community. If you would like to take community college courses while in high
school, the Admission Committee recommends that you take breadth requirements.</p>
<p>Important Information for Current and Newly Admitted Berkeley Students
Once at UC Berkeley students must take Haas prerequisites at UC Berkeley.<br>
