Can I get into college with my GPA?

@MYOS1634 I do work with others on group projects and stuff but I generally don’t go out of my way to talk to random people in class. I cannot be bothered to do so. Like I said I’m very much like I go into class and then I go out when it’s over. No, I am not a first generation student. The thing is in the engineering world it is very competitive. At UT I knew someone who had a 4.0 GPA and didn’t even get in. I think most first jobs or internships require a minimum of a 3.5 GPA. I am a member and even an officer of various student organizations at my school. I also go to career fairs or job fairs when hosted. So I do still network in regards to organizations and I am friends with some staff members but I could do fine without knowing who’s in my class. You know? In my defense, I do have a decent job experience given my age so that should count for something. Weekends I possibly could but I would still have to go 1 week day. I have to still figure out the commenting situation if it’s out of the city. I’m not willing to drive more than about 2 hrs (very maximum) away from my city since I still have to come back to visit.

The most common GPA cutoff used by employers screening college applicants for interviews is 3.0, according to NACE surveys. Obviously, higher is better because there are some employers with cutoffs other than 3.0, but a college student with a 3.01 GPA will be in a much better position than one with a 2.99 GPA.
