Can I get into Stanford?

<p>This site shows the stats of accepted and admitted students. Getting your GPA above 3.7 is pretty important, but the accept rate for a 3.7-3.99 GPA of 6% is only a little below the overall average of 7%. </p>

<p>As far as EC, passion is better than raw numbers. Look at what you are involved in and focus on those things that mean the most. Do it because you love it, and it won’t seem like work. This committment will be apparent in interviews and essays and possibly set you apart.</p>

<p>It’s paradoxical, but going out and living life without worrying about how every little thing affects you chances at an elite university is probably the best way to actually get into an elite university. Also, if it works out that you don’t get in, you’ll have a wealth of real world experience that will set you up for success.</p>
