<p>@billscho. You seem to be undervaluing how hard it is to get into Stanford today. They have the lowest acceptance rate at 5.69%. Every Tom, Dick, and Harry wants to attend Stanford. However, I agree with texaspg that Stanford loves athletes that compete at the national or international level. To the OP, don’t worry about padding your application with superfluous “community service hours” you have accomplished a lot…just work on your essays and make your genuine voice and identity shine through in your application.
