Can i get into uc davis with a 3.6 majoring in biochemistry

@hopefulucdavis: The Forensic Science program is a graduate program not an Undergrad program at UC Davis.

Do you have $65K/year to attend UC Davis since UC’s give little to no financial aid to Out of State students? Your stats are not competitive enough for Regents merit aid so you should expect to pay full fees.

You saw the admit rates for your GPA range which is around 9% overall probably a bit higher for Biochem and OOS students but you should consider it a High Reach school based on your academic stats. The UC’s consider HS course rigor very important but they also expect good grades like mostly A’s in the AP classes to be competitive.

If you are interested in Forensic Science and can afford to come to California for Undergrad, you might want to check out San Jose State’s program. SJSU would be around $40K/year to attend as an OOS student and would be an easier admit.

You could always do your Undergrad in your home state and apply to UCD’s graduate program after you complete your Bachelor’s degree.
