I was currently enrolled at a CC but then decided to go to a 4 year university (which I already committed to). If I do not enjoy the 4 year university (UCR) can I transfer back to community college and reapply to another university…If so do I have to send my UCR transcript along with my CC transcript to the college I am applying to? Thanks.
All (or almost all) colleges require transcripts from every college you’ve attended when you transfer.
Many schools (such as UCR) also use the National Student Clearinghouse to verify course enrollment at colleges.

Will you be taking upper division courses at UCR?
Some colleges (such as some of the UCs) will not accept transfers if they have a high amount of units.
The answers to your questions will vary by school, so look at the policies of schools you’re thinking of applying to.
I know this is going to be a kind of annoying answer, but my advice is that rather than drain your energy worrying about this you plan to enjoy UCR and approach it with a positive attitude. No school is perfect.
