Texas schools are tough but so are you!
You are a resident. (Big advantage over OOS who can’t get in because they don’t reside in your state.)
You achieved a 1410 on your SAT
You’ve completed and passed 10 AP classes with ~3’s or better
Your essays have been rated as being good.
You are a legacy (even though they claim they don’t look at that)
You intend to major in Econ/Poli Sci
Apply. It sounds like you are being very harsh on yourself.
You never know how the admissions acceptances will go.
I think your chances are good. They will want to look at students who bring something special to the table.
