SAT is good.
Rank isn’t good but we have seen 2nd Q get accepted or offer team or gateway.
Essay, good based on you, but we can’t hang our hat on that and it’s not weighted heavily.
AP courses show rigor, 3s show understanding not mastery. Not all 3s will be accepted in lieu of a course tho, so you’ll work with your college advisor before accepting.

You most likely won’t hear back til January or February.
Have you thought about applying to Tamu Galveston? You can go there for a year and change major (not apply cause you’re already an Aggie) to something up in college station. Many students start off there and end up loving it and don’t change campuses, but it is definitely an option and way easier to get in. You would most likely be admitted within a week.
Also, it is truly Tamu and not a system school like prairie view or Corpus Christi. Etc so maybe your parents will pay as if you were on cstat campus.
