my entire senior year, i have to take all required classes. i have to take health, PE, leadership2, pre calc h, english 12, and ap gov/econ. i have no space for a science. thats why im self studying otuside of school AP stats and AP CSA. they wont let me take a math outside of school to count as a high school credit and accelerate to ap calc ab/bc. i haven’t been able to accelerate since in my freshman year, i had one B+ in semester1, so i cant accelerate because of that

Are you a resident of California?

If not, do you know what your budget is for the colleges?

Hello, yes I am a resident of California

I’m confused about math - you have precalc hons listed under “so far” but also again for next year?

What sciences have you taken to date other than AP Phys1?

What level in foreign language have you reached?

Is this a public or private school btw?

I can’t chance you, but I’d love to read one of your PIQ’s about being the school mascot

that was an accident, i meant to put pre calc h under senior year plans.

I’ve only taken the required sciences that i need, such as Living Earth (biology) and Chemistry.

Im currently in my 3rd year of spanish

it is a public school.

4.03 Weighted GPA

Correction: about 4.27.

I am also confused about the math requirements. You’ve taken no math other than pre calculus?
You’re going to be deficient in math credits if you haven’t been taking math courses with regularity.

Otherwise I think you’re extracurriculars and your activities have been great. I know that the UCs love athletes who can balance their studies with the grueling hours spent in practices.

hello, sorry this is so confusing haha im not very good at this.

Ive taken algebra 1 9th grade, geometry 10th grade, and alg 2 trig currently in 11th grade. My school wouldnt allow me to accelerate since i had one B+ in algebra 1 my freshmen year and i needed at least an A-.

OK, that sounds good.

If your school has certain rules about what courses you’re allowed to take, and what the requirements are, then make sure that your counselor makes a notation in your record about that. The colleges need to know that you attempted to take the most rigorous coursework but you weren’t allowed to because of school rules.

I think your chances are good. Apply and see what happens. Good luck!
