Can still take the ACT if I applied?

Yeah I hate to tell you this but that is a ridiculously LOW SAT score.

Here are stats from last year’s freshman class:

Math: 99% of accepted students had a 500 or higher (78% of those students had a 600 or higher). Only 1% had lower than a 500. Your Math is horribly low.
CR: 62% had a 600 or higher. 36% had between a 500 and a 600. Sort of ok here.
W: 57% had above a 600, so you’re fine there.

Your GPA is ok UW, W is fine.

You already applied so you need to contact OAFA and ask them if your application has been reviewed yet or not. If it hasn’t, you can ask them to hold on reviewing it probably until you send in ACT scores. However, if you do poorly on the ACT and then end up sending your application in September or October (or later) your chances of getting in decrease even more…

so really, I don’t know what to tell you. I’m surprised you didn’t retake the SAT after you saw your scores the first time, or sign up for the ACT right away. The test scores are an important part of the application and yours are really low.
