Can the Stanford Arts Supplement Recommender Be the Same as the Common App "Other Recommender?"

You sound as if there should be a LOR specifically for the arts supplement. Your piano teacher’s is an optional, “other” LOR to go with your high school teachers’ LORs. Don’t send in duplicates. Unless they’ve changed the requirements since the last time I looked at it two years ago… which I highly doubt.

There is. When submitting the arts supplement, it says that a letter of recommendation from an arts teacher or specialist is required to submit with the arts supplement.

That was my incination; they’re going to be receiving the letter once anyway, so I shouldn’t send it in twice.
