Can You Freeze Hummus?

I have done. And coincidently, I love one from Costco and it is the only one that we buy anymore. It can also stay in fridge w/o being frozen for 2 -3 weeks. I love it, and eat with the spoon. Did you try Costco falafel? Yummm!!

I always double the Silver Palate recipe and then freeze it in pint containers. It is way cheaper than buying it prepared and, to my taste, much better.

Smiling to myself. I read the thread too quickly. I thought it said “Can you freeze Hummers”.

1moremom,
Did you try Hummus from Costco? It taste really good and I am not sure if you can make it cheaper yourself, considering that you spend time making it.

Yes, I’ve bought it in a pinch; I like mine better. It’s more lemony and garlicky, and fresher tasting. Also, I use good olive oil, the taste of which comes through. I just throw everything in my processor, so it really takes very little time considering how much a double recipe makes. (I do use canned garbanzos.)
