Can you get into the UHC sophomore year?

Nobody is officially ‘in’ the Honors College. As mentioned anyone can sign up for UHC classes if they get a permission slip signed by the prof, which isn’t really hard or time consuming to do.

Most people that feel they are ‘in’ the college, are just more active in the college. This usually means taking UHC classes and hanging out in the UHC office on the 35th floor of the cathedral. Most students who take a lot of honors courses were given honors college sponsored scholarships when they applied which are primarily SAT score based.

That said, I have never heard of anyone being offered a scholarship at any time other than the application stage and have no reason to believe it is ever done. They give you the scholarship to entice you to enroll, why would they give you the scholarship after you’ve already matriculated?
