<p>EDIT: I probably should have included this earlier, but can one change National Merit first choice into April? I still don’t know if I’ll be going to Chicago or Rice University. It’s something that depends in good part on how Rice’s scholarship works out (or, alternatively, if I even get in) but as of right now Rice is my first choice according to National Merit. However, if I end up deciding on Chicago, I’d like to get all the savings I can. Would I still be able to take UChicago up on a National Merit scholarship at a later date? Or has that ship sailed?</p>
