Candidate Visit Weekend

No. It’s called Candidate Visit Weekend because those who are invited are official candidates. To be a candidate, one must have submitted a preliminary application (or NASS application) for admission and have high enough test scores/grades to have been given a candidate number. NASS applications are only accepted starting 1 February of junior year of HS, and preliminary applications are accepted later than that. When my daughter contacted USNA prior to her junior year of HS, she received a nice letter telling her that she was too young to apply and a color brochure.

Of course, for every “rule,” there could be exceptions… What about it, all you BGOs?
