Hurry, they are on sale at 40% off. You can send them to your cadets/mids, to their sponsor families, and probably a sampler box at home. No, I don’t work for them. But it’s funny that my daughter said more cadets are getting these and it’s a big favorite. Enjoy!

Just wanted to add a thought to this, although not to add to the list of companies to order from. When you send your cadet/midshipman a care package, you might want to considering adding a small package for his/her roommate(s) with their name on it. Not only do some kids not get much as far as care packages and notes, but also they tend to get the same things in packages from their parents. You can also consider sending a box for the whole company or something along those lines. It actually makes your kid “look good” and what more could a mom want for their hardworking/stressed cadet/midshipman? When you go to visit, bringing along a couple of boxes of donuts for the “dayroom” or whatever it is called at your kid’s service academy is a real hit/treat. Some academies have parents associations that deliver cakes to the academy when ordered. Consider sending a “good luck with final exams” cake if it is not too late.

thin mints. LOL I watched two Mids eat four boxes between them when they were here last month. I didn’t get any! Apparently, I need to check those boys into girl scout cookie rehab. I can visualize fights breaking out in the dorms over someone getting that boodle & trying to keep it hidden. :D

Yep! Sent 6 boxes, grandmother sent 2 boxes, and then found out that one of the roommates younger sister’s was selling GS cookies and he bought 4 boxes from her (they are local) AND 4 boxes from sponsor families daughter! Think he may have OD on GS cookies this year. I won’t be sending next year as he obviously has his own sources that don’t have to be mailed!

A total of 16 boxes? That would be about right for the boy. However, I’d mail considerably fewer than that. We, thankfully, have a source in MD we’ll be hitting up!

You know moms and sons we do tend to spoil them! At least it was a wide assortment.

Over plebe summer, he asked to not have us send anymore boxes as between the roomies, they couldn’t eat it all and were out of room to store it all, except for grandma’s home made cookies…those were gone in a flash.

One week left of class, a horrible finals schedule and then home for a week, I can’t wait.

nurseypoo, add a couple containers of powdered Gatorade ( if it’s okay’d by the cadre in his company). My son said they were sweating so much that water didn’t always cut it. He put the Gatorade in his canteen.

Just watch the cookies during PS. The Cadre and the Academy are very serious about keeping the Plebes healthy and don’t really want to see a lot of ‘junk food’ coming to the kids. On the other hand, the Cadre LOVE cookies…
