I’m also an international student and financial aid is what matters most in my situation. However, I still applied ED 2 to Carleton, Hoping for the best.
Carleton accepted 34% of its ED1 applicants, or 171 applicants were accepted in that first round, with ED2 decisions set to be announced on Feb. 15. About 40% of its total projected 525 enrolled students for Class 2024 will likely be chosen via the combined ED1 and ED2.

Yes — my son was accepted as an ED1 applicant. He fell in love with Carleton when we visited the campus last September, and we’re confident that the school will be a great fit for him. Congrats to your daughter!

I read that Carleton felt like home to your son. It was exactly the same way for my daughter. The vibe and the academics seem outstanding. We are so thrilled for her.
The weather is a non issue almost as we are from Wisconsin but most people still don’t mind it it seems.
