Excited for y’all! Ds loved Carleton so I think your kids are making a great choice. 
@caspiancat I think it’s so funny that Pomona is still out there. I thought it would be the perfect place for ds1. I absolutely saw him as a Sagehen, but he ended up not visiting or applying. When ds2 was applying to college we flew out to Claremont so he could see Pomona and Claremont McKenna. I took the tour alone while he was in class, and afterward I called ds1 at Carleton and asked, “Why didn’t you apply here again?” lol It felt like Carleton on steroids (though, in actuality, they are quite different, I think). Ds2 applied and got in to both Pomona and CMC but ended up someplace else entirely.
