Every uni. has a math placement exam and typically, even those who took the “easy” BC test are required to sit this. Why would you want to skip to the highest level of math? Wouldn’t you rather make sure you are well grounded in concepts? Correct placement is key, so studying is counter-productive. Go where they place you - they know better than you do what the pace and degree of difficulty of the math sequence is like at CMU.
