Hi I can help. Are u a transfer?

Yes, I would like to transfer to Cornell.

I’ve volunteered at a food bank.

Take what I have to say with a grain of salt. I am currently a high school senior who got into Cornell ED. However, I did a little bit of research about transfer admissions, and I think I have a pretty good understanding of college admissions in general. I think you have a chance. In transfer admissions, your college grades and experiences completely outweigh what you have done in high school. The 4.0 college gpa is definitely really solid. In addition, Cornell places quite a bit of weight on your extracurricular activities and your application essays. Since you are applying to math, any activities you have done outside of the classroom that are related to math can definitely help your application. Perhaps you have done some kind of contests, research, clubs, or maybe even just studied some extra and interesting math on your own. For the essays, it is important that you show your love and passion for mathematics. Good Luck!
