Just a note about music at Rochester. Your son doesn’t have to be Eastman School caliber to be involved in music at UR. My daughter has friends who are regular Rochester students who play in the chamber orchestra and rock ensemble. And many who are active in vocal groups on campus. One of the things I like about the school is that they seem to provide opportunities for involvement at a number of different talent/training/commitment levels.
