Casey Anthony Jurors: Should they cash in?

<p>I don’t think it’s ok. It’s our civic duty to serve as a juror- not a way to make money. Now, that being said, the reality is that they will all cash in on this thing. I find it interesting that Jeff Ashton, who is now retired, is making the rounds on the talk shows. Could this be a way of drumming up interest for a future book?</p>

<p>Unfortunately, the only person who will not profit is poor Caylee. Sadly, she seems to matter very little to anyone.</p>

<p>I don’t think (hope?) jurors will deliberately come up with outrageous verdicts to enhance their marketability. </p>

<p>I still think it’s a shame that the compensation for jurors is so pathetic, at least in our county in PA - about ten bucks a day in round numbers, which was comparable to the parking fee. For those who are self employed or those for whom their companies don’t pick up the difference, it’s an uncalled for hit.</p>
