Casey Anthony?

I wonder how many jurors were mothers… fathers… grandparents…

And how many were under 30 and single…

There were a few 60 year olds and and a couple of people in their 40s. I know that for sure, not sure how the rest of the jury was madeup.

Sadly, she is such a sociopathic kook, none of her strange behavior is proof that she killed her child. If her daughter had died in an accident, or even if her daughter was kidnapped, she very well might have celebrated. That’s how whacked she is. Still wouldn’t prove that she herself was responsible for the child’s death. I happen to think she is, but all that weird behavior only proves she is a very weird person.

Funny that…

I was waiting for one of you to go there. I know ONE parent who’s child has died.

I partied. Got drunk and high. Bought a car. Left my girlfriend. Found new women. Pretty much did all sorts of self destructive behavior.

Starting the next day…

I guess I am now a murderer… Because MY acting out wasn’t appropriate.

You should read up on grieving and the MANY forms it takes…

As I have posted before, she was probably in serious denial. A lot of times when something really serious happens some people just block it, and continue on with their lives as if nothing had ever happened.

The mistake most people are doing here is projecting what they themselves would do in her situation. You can’t do that. She was a 25 year old wreck with obvious mental issues. None of us fall under that guideline (At least I hope not  )

*Yes, and partying it up when you’re a mother is now considered evidence that you committed a crime. *

Oh come on…we don’t have to leave our common sense at the door. Casey was portrayed as a “devoted mom” who had a “special bond”…and we’re supposed to believe that such a mom will party like that within - what? 72 hours of her D’s death???

Listen, we get it - there is not enough evidence to prove alot of things in this case. But guess what - no matter what you say and how you say it - my belief is that she had something to do with her daughters death. And THAT opinion is not going to change.

And now the lawsuits are coming. Zanetta is suing, the Search Team my sue and the IRS wants their money. I hope they keep her in court for years.

Slacker just posted about one particular case. It does happen.

Just because you wouldn’t do it, doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen.

*Have you known people whose young child has drowned? *

I haven’t known a young child…but I did have a super close friend who drowned. I was so devastated and beside myself that a few days later, when I had to put gas in my car , I forgot to pull the hose out, and I drove away…breaking the pump.

It’s just not likely that an innocent Casey could be in such the party mood within a few days of losing her precious D.

Like I said…

Life’s easy as a backseat driver…

xslacker - was that your child?

Nobody is telling you that you can’t have an opinion.

What we’re arguing here is whether or not your opinion is rational and logical given the evidence.

jsanchez32 lolz… sadly no

Yes. Caitlin Rose. 9/3/2001…

I truly think people that haven’t actually lost a child really don’t know what the $%^& they are talking about…

Imagine the worst thing that can happen to you. Then stop because you can’t really imagine it. Then imagine perhaps you are responsible for it happening. Then tell me what proper behavior is…

Was there any news today about WHERE Casey will go if she’s released tomorrow?

and I wonder how her prior felonies will play into this. Her “time served” may only cover those felonies…she pled guilty to 13 Felonies last year.

*Judge Stan Strickland found Casey guilty of six counts including check fraud and withheld adjudication on seven others.

In sentencing, Strickland credited Casey with the 412 days she’s already served, ordered her to pay court and investigative fees and assigned her to one year probation(Judge Strickland said he may modify depending on what happens with her other legal problems.)*

So, does this mean that Strickland can add time now for those 7 other felonies??? Hope so!!!

Sorry to hear about that xSlacker. That must have been awful.

*I partied. Got drunk and high. Bought a car. Left my girlfriend. Found new women. Pretty much did all sorts of self destructive behavior.

Starting the next day…
*

The next day? before even the funeral??? Was this a child that you were raising in your home?

My deepest condolences for your loss…how old was she?

So sorry for your loss. And I have not lost a child, so yes - you have more knowledge than most of us here. We can only go on what our history is, how we think we would feel and act. We are angered because it doesn’t look like Casey went on a destructive streak as you did (and alot of others who lose children), but an enjoyable thirty day long party.

I cannot say for sure that Casey murdered Caylee, but I still believe that Casey had something to do with Caylee’s death - even if it was an accident. What angers me is that even if it was as accident, Caylee did not deserve to be discarded like trash.

so sorry for you loss xslacker!!!

Yes, there have been reports she may go to Houston. A “relative” was on tv (phone call) and said she told the family Casey was welcome to come to her home.
