That’s good to know MOWC. One of my concerns has been how the surgery will disrupt my training programs. I’m intentionally delaying this until after my Habitat ride. I think the game plan is to replicate the correction I have with my monovision contacts so hopefully I won’t need to wear any contacts or glasses after the implants are done. If that’s not the case, I’m gonna be one disappointed kid. The only reason I’m having the surgery now instead of down the road is to do away with my contacts and their inconveniences altogether.
Some doctors tell patients not to exercise for a week, but mine said I was good to go. He didn’t want me to fall, so I stuck with the treadmill for a couple of days.
Most people can do away with the contacts/glasses, but my eye was tricky because of the retina thing.
