Keb, no worries, I am no threat, heh heh heh.

guys, i have the potential to hit 1,000 before the big day.

i just need a little moral support, thats all i ask.

beavers…

wow, the things that come up on these threads.

and you’re wearing a tie (even hypothetically)? indulge me, what sort of tie? repp? patterned? solid?

lol and a suit? jacket?

::shudder:: stopp the beaver talk! fakjdfkljklf I had to actually see it!

“heh heh heh” just doesn’t strike me as reassuring, somehow…that plus the fact that UVa is where I’ll probably go* if I don’t get into Princeton… =)

*that is, if UVa accepts me…

edit: zant…did you have the “Moderate Safe Search” option on? It doesn’t seem like it…lol.

I’m just kidding, you know. That’s what people do sometimes. Anyways, since when was slick willy a threatening figure? Women tended to like him.

No I didn’t! baad mistake, but it is soo securely on now. In fact, I may have it on the super safe option.

Oh, and about a tie…hmm, I like most of the ties from Brooks Brothers, but I couldn’t name any of the patterns on the ones I have…I’m the type of guy who has to get sales people to pick stuff out for him…but on my own I normally end up dressed alright. Sometimes I wish I had someone to help me out with that stuff, you know, with some savoir faire in the clothing field.

Oh, zante… but why were you googling beavers in the first place? Maybe I’m missing something, but honestly… so random.

THAT most definitely was a come-on to gracilisae, the fashion guru.

oh i was showing my mom the difference between beavers and raccoons and chipmunks or something silly like that.

Maybe it was…

But seriously, I think it would be cool if I had someone to dress me like that. Think about it, Gatsby had his person in europe send him clothing!

either im lactating or my nipples are swollen…either, or.

what does that have to do with anything at all?

why can’t you be both?

oh, that’s even more spectacular - your MUM was there. honestly!!!

brooks is amazing, there’s one right around the corner from my school so when i run by it i like to peer in the window.

i’m personally a big fan of repp ties (the diagonal stripey ones) with khakis and an colored oxford.

burberry blazers…ah such nice fit!

i like wearing just a plain button up shirt with a brooks bros jacket and some khaki pants. not all the time to school though, i’d look like a ■■■■■■, but at somewhere more elite, it would be sweet, and couldn’t be beat.

ooh cav, you are missing the whole point.

as a student who is even applying to princeton, you have the power to wear whatever upper-class attire you want and get away with it. for example, last week i wore a lovely tweed blazer with elbow patches and all…of course no one could make fun of me, because not only could i buy their home right out from under them, but because i am the smart one, they aren’t!

i thought you said they didn’t know what they were and so they called them “elbow pads” - haha, i would constitute that as making fun of, ilcap.

i definitely work my talbots navy blazer sometimes, but i’ve never tried a tie with it… usually just a lacoste.

for school ------ when warm, a pique polo can never go wrong
cold---- a nice sweater (cable knit holler!) and polo is also a good option; or you could work the blazer with a sweater and jeans.

and thus ends the nearly-1-am fashion consultation with no caps whatsoever
