I have a question, wondering if you might know the answer.
In the past there has been a Pre-departure orientation in D.C.
I have been reading more recent blogs and don’t see anything about that, looks like they might have gone straight from their home to Germany.
Do you know how that works these days?
I am unsure how it works for YFU, but I would assume so. CIEE does have a PDO in DC, and it happens in the beginning of August. CIEE has a 3 day 2 night orientation and then we leave all together for language camp. It all really depends on what YFU wants to do.

I was at the Dallas event as a semi finalist. I was hoping to hear something this weekend. Has anyone heard anything yet. The wait and anticipation is getting to me I just want to know something.
Real… I’m really surprised acceptances did not release Friday. We will hear something this week (this is the only mid march week). Hoping for tomorrow but I’ve been wrong so many times

Yep, there’s 191 semifinalists and 105 spots… what we don’t know is if they have specific amounts of spots for each implementing organization in country.
