<p>Thanks for the laugh! I’ve been having time sucked out of me from the internet at other sites lately…I’m glad to see that some of the “usual suspects” are still here on the parent’s board. PuppyWuppy??? hahahahaha. </p>
<p>I also recommend CC only to parents who have high-performing kids who are really interested in the college application “games” and tell them to read this with LOTS of filters. My DD1 was applying to several competitive schools and was a basket case already…I warned her to stay away!! She was glad to, although I forwarded her lots of useful info. DD2 keeps an eye open now on her college’s forums (as do I–sometimes we PM each other about how obnoxious some of the posters are!!!). And, as strange as my kids always thought I always was when I started something with…someone on CC said… they’ve met people IRL who I’ve “found” here…not long ago, DD1 was able to hook up another CC’ers son for an interview for an internship at NASA!</p>

<p>I really won’t diss the show. I have recieved literally thousands of small pieces of financial advice over the years that have paid off for me. I recommend it to everyone; we do a horrible job as a society of teaching our kids about personal finance, I think. This is very out of character for them. They do read letters aloud on the show, I will let you know if they read any about this in a coming week. Maybe PuppyWuppy should go post a comment on the show’s web page (they have a place for comments).</p>
