@morrismm, scroll up to the top of the page and look to the left column at the light blue headings. First is "Forum Posts. A few down is “My Threads”.
Nrdsb4- not really getting what you mean. Lol
Morrismom, because I looked it up when I posted. It’s on the top left of the page.
I just don’t pay attention to number of posts I have or anyone else has. I could look but there is no reason to.
That info is not readily accessible on the phone, which is how I access CC (too often these days, because I’m going thru a stressful time and I find the site a good way to lessen stress).
Morris, my question is how did you avoid taking a big gulp of the CC koolaid like the rest of us? Lol. I work but CC is still a daily diversion. I am mostly in the parent cafe now that 2 kids are in and through college. I’ve been wandering back to the other sections lately as my youngest is finishing up junior year. I understand your issue- I don’t post a lot but I read a lot of the threads. If I feel like adding something I do, even if it’s late in a thread.
Where do you usually check? If you look at Latest Posts, you will at least see recent comments, usually posted within minutes - so you might get in on the current discussions that way.
Psychmomma, when I started 7 years ago I had one in college and one applying. I was much more involved then. I was very involved in their school threads. Not so much now.
Now I am more involved in the parent cafe. It is my weekend wine and read pleasure!
When there is a thread which interests me I read the entire thing, eventually. I am only on page 38 of nearly 380 on the retirement thread, but each page has good information even if I am behind the crowd.
My meaning is that I didn’t see your thread: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/parents-forum/1752252-your-kids-first-job-out-of-college-where-are-they-now-was-their-college-worth-it.html#latest until page 9, but it didn’t stop me from posting on it without catching up first.
Posters repeats stuff said earlier in a thread all the time. No big deal. Read and post away!
