I am the mom of a USAFA cadet—Class of 2009. He did his fitness test at the USNA summer seminar, so I have no idea how he did, but obviously his scores were good enough! My other son is applying and his scores were:

BB Throw 76’
Pull Ups 7
Shuttle Run 8.7 seconds
Modified Sit Ups 67
Push Ups 41
Mile 6min 35 sec

He is very fit, but his upper body strength is not the greatest right now. He’s very tall and thin. I was worried that his push ups might not make the minimum—but your numbers indicate otherwise. I noticed that your mean scores were a little off for this years numbers—They are
BB Throw 68’
Pull-ups 10
Shuttle Run 9.5 sec
Modified Sit Ups 74
Push Ups 55
Mile 6.54

Anyone else know for sure about minimum scores? I know the academy published them last year, but not anymore. I wonder why? Is it no longer PC to say that someone is not fit enough to be at the academy?
